Instructional Approaches

Siena Italian Studies has worked since it's beginning in 2004 towards the development of reflective intercultural competence in its students. In this effort a number of instructional techniques and approaches have been employed. Most importantly is FICCS (Full-Immersion: Culture, Content and Service) on which a book is in print and which will soon be available for purchase.
